In addition there are four pages, presumably from Vogue. Cover stories include topics such as women's suffrage, Easter, World War I, color photos of the Eastern Shore and Vladimir Lenin, and fox hunting.

Catherine Perdunn Papers

The Catherine Perdunn Papers document the early and late life of Catherine (Berger) Perdunn from her birth in 1909 to 1964. Included are Perdunn's baby book, which contains pasted photographs and notes about her childhood in addition to family photographs and a small New York Religious Tract Society publication from the early 19th century; high school commencement program and invitation in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in 1927; one typewritten and one handwritten diary that date from 1962 to 1964; and ephemera from the Peace Corps; teaching and Peace Corps certificates. Perdunn recorded her Peace Corps training experience in her typewritten diary from May to August 1962 at the University of Maryland and her Peace Corps operation service in British Honduras from August 1962 to June 1964. She also gave a speech to a Rotary Club in 1964 that detailed her experience in the Peace Corps.
Colonel Freeman Bruce Olmstead papers

The Colonel Freeman Bruce Olmstead papers document Colonel Olmstead's imprisonment in the Soviet Union after his RB-47 reconnaissance plane was shot down over the Barents Sea in 1960 and his release in 1961. His papers date from 1960 to 1976 with the majority of papers from 1960 to 1962. This collection includes telegrams and correspondence, records from the United Nations' Security Council, maps, photographs, press conference notes, a copy of The Little Toy Dog, international press releases, magazines, and newspaper clippings. There is also a calendar by Captain Olmstead that he made and hid in his cell that denotes when he sent and received letters from his family.

The Cuban Propaganda Poster Collection documents Cuban politics and their propaganda campaign against racism and support of solidarity with international groups such as those in Vietnam, South Africa, Guatemala, Palestine, and the Black Panthers. This collection consists of 60 color reproduction posters, reprinted in 2005, by the Organization of Solidarity with the People of Asia, Africa and Latin America. The posters include topics such as the Castro Revolution, Vietnam and Latin America during the Cold War, Angola propaganda art, Puerto Rico Independence, Anti-Apartheid propaganda in Zimbabwe and South Africa, socialist propaganda in Africa, Guatemala solidarity, Palestine solidarity, and African American Civil Rights.

Included are two packs of commemorative edition Operation Yellow Ribbon trading cards by Bryant Graphic, one pack of Troops Desert Storm trading cards, and a pack of Election '92 "The Full Ballot" trading cards by First Amendment Publishing Inc. The Election '92 "The Full Ballot" pack consists of various presidential candidates that were lesser known.
Diary of Second World War Sergeant

This diary was written by an unidentified sergeant in the Second World War between August 14 and December 30. The author, who wrote short entries with high intensity, was ordered from Pearl Harbor to Wakayama, then Osaka, Japan. The author was a part of the first troops to enter the areas after the Japanese surrender and he described the environment in detail. In November he wrote about the suicide of a 20 year old soldier in his platoon one month before they were sent home. At the back of the diary, the author listed all of the ships that he had been on during his service.
Diary of W.L. Goodmanson

The Diary of W.L. Goodmanson was written by a Medical Corps soldier from Oregon who was stationed in the Pacific Theater during the Second World War. Goodmanson enlisted in 1939, but the bulk of his entries were written in 1944 and 1945. He discussed the places he saw, things he missed back home, and the visuals of various battles. In the beginning of the diary, he listed his personal information, general timeline of events, his awards, officers, and his "buddies."
